More on Drawer-type lid holders:
Even the Manufacturers' pictures show
that they only hold a few lids.
They take a lot of space for so few lids.

They work fine if you own the right size and shape of lids (with a couple of reservations, below).
If you have the wrong shape lids, however, it is a mess,
and it takes up a lot of room in the cabinet.
The lids that fit can't be too thin nor too deep. They need to be just right!
Of course, these units are made to maximize their holding capacity. One unfortunate outcome is that these don't fit some cabinets with non-standard depths, or with obstructions behind (this one is all the way back).

This particular brand has a few other problems: 

If you don't have it perfectly balanced (same weight in both slots), the drawer won't move after you push it all the way in. You have to reach back and hold it down. 

Even worse, because of the way they designed connection between base and the drawer, this can happen.
