More on Vertical-Mount lid holders:
|
- These work OK (with reservations, below) if you
have all flat lids with squat round handles, the type this was built for.
Notice that the Manufacturers' pictures
show them holding just a few lids of the same kind...
|
|
- ...but introduce just one lid with a curve to it, much less three...
Notice the empty, unusable slots.
|
|
If your lids have any kind of lip, they catch
on each other when you take lids out.
|
|
|
When you do get them out, you can't put them
back in.

This unit is very tall (with a small lid on the top, over 19").
It also has a very deep profile (sticks into the cabinet about 7" with pretty big lids).
As a result, you can't use the fronts of your cabinets, and if your cabinets have shelves: "forget about it!"

Square-handled lids don't sit very well.
These units are designed for lids with round "button" handles.
(Well, the handles can't be very tall, or the lids won't fit, and catch on other lids when you take them out. So, for these holders to work well, you need to buy very flat lids with squat round handles!)

Look at the length of screw they supply to
mount it.
It goes right through my cabinet doors!
(You might think I'm being too picky here, but if you have the right kind of lids to load this rack fully, it is very heavy, and probably needs screws this robust to hold it safely.)
